Please join us for a lecture by Consul General Rolf Schütte about the lasting impact of the Holocaust on German-Jewish relations. Based on personal observations and research conducted by Consul General Schütte, the lecture will explore how the legacy of the Holocaust affects German citizens, as well as Jewish communities in the United States, Israel and Germany.

Mr. Rolf Schütte was born in Goslar, Germany and has been a member of the German Foreign Service since 1981. Prior to serving as Consul General in San Francisco, Consul General Schütte served at the German Consulate in Tel Aviv, as Deputy Head of Division for Middle East Affairs in the German Foreign Office, and spent a sabbatical year as a Visiting Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington DC and at the American Jewish Committee in New York.
