Daniel Jonah Goldhagen is the author of the international bestseller Hitler's Willing Executioners: Ordinary Germans and the Holocaust, as well as the controversial A Moral Reckoning: The Role of the Church in the Holocaust and Its Unfulfilled Duty of Repair. His forthcoming book is Worse Than War: Understanding Genocide in Our Time, which is also the basis for a major PBS documentary.
