Educator Workshops
One day Educator Workshops on the Holocaust and patterns of genocide combine academic growth with innovative teaching strategies to help educators deign lessons that encourage students to develop critical thinking skills, and the ability to relate the lessons of the Holocaust to their own lives.
For information about educator workshops, contact Morgan Blum at MorganB@jfcs.org or visit our Educator Workshops page.
Day of Learning
Established in 2003, the Day of Learning is an opportunity for students and educators to participate in interactive workshops about the Holocaust and genocide. This special educational forum honors Holocaust survivors, commemorates those who perished, and is dedicated to teaching the lessons of the Holocaust and genocide to future generations. More than 500 youths and adults attended the 2009 Day of Learning. For more information, contact Morgan Blum at MorganB@jfcs.org
